Jim Frey

Director, Learning Experience Design

Jim is a proven leader in online education and instructional design with strong experience in higher education and corporate environments. Before joining Six Red Marbles, Jim was a Senior Instructional Designer and team leader at Boston University, where he was honored to receive four awards from the United States Distance Learning Association and Blackboard for courses he designed. Prior to that, he led the design of fully online courses at Northeastern University, worked as a freelance e-Learning consultant, and wrote instructional content for a variety of projects at Cognitive Arts Corporation. Jim also possesses years of experience performing, recording, and producing voice narration for online education.

Jim is a full-on jazz enthusiast, which is related to his other gig as drummer in The Rollo Tomasi Quartet. His other interests include deadpan humor, Texas hold'em, racquetball, and sharks. If you are looking to engage in a conversation consisting entirely of quotes from Arrested Development (the TV show), Jim is your guy.
