CEO Bob Fogel rolled into Six Red Marbles with an impressive background in both leading Tier One learning organizations and teaching and consulting in strategic planning, operational assessment, organizational culture, innovation, and change management. Bob has designed and taught courses in top multinational companies and has been an executive coach with senior executives.
Bob has a long history of for-profit, non-profit, and government leadership with a career focus in technology innovation and adaptation for change. Within education, Bob was formerly Chief Program Officer for Fullbridge.com, Inc.; Executive Vice President and Executive Dean of Babson College; Dean for Administration at the Harvard Graduate School of Education; Founder, President, and CEO of Harvard Business School Interactive; and Executive Director of Executive Education at Harvard Business School. He also created and founded the edtech company GatherEducation.com. In non-profit and government, Bob was formerly Chief Operating Officer at the Conservation Law Foundation; and as a Senior Manager at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, LLP, he was responsible for managing the Government High Tech Consulting Practice. In 2010, Bob was recalled to the Coast Guard to help lead Crisis Communications and Public Relations for the BP oil spill, as he is also a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Coast Guard Reserves. He earned his BS degree from the Coast Guard Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Nowadays Bob spends most of his spare time as chauffeur to his two sport maven daughters, Samantha and Julia. An avid skier but with less than stellar knees after many years of wrestling, rugby, and skiing, he now meanders down the slopes at a more leisurely pace, trying hard just to keep up with Sammie and Julia!
